Luckily, she stuck to stories about princesses and princes for a while. She probably shouldn’t admit that she started sneaking romance novels from her aunt’s bookshelves way before she was old enough to even understand what it meant when a man flipped up a woman’s skirt… don’t tell her mom. The story is good, and the main character is engaging and humorous, but at times it just seems like she is spending too much time thinking and you just want the story to get on with it.Mariana Zapata began writing love stories soon after she learned how to spell. There was too much time spent inside the narrator’s head. I feel like this story could have been told in half the time. Review 3: The Wall of Winnipeg and Me audiobook by Amazon Customer Too long for the content Non-the-less you will love this story if you are a die hard reader and love a good story based upon a solid relationship that was not easily built and not based on sexual attraction alone. It is what she referred to once as a “slow burn”. Her stories are relevant, interesting and more importantly very well written! The story of Vanessa and Aiden is not a love at first sight story. Review 2: The Wall of Winnipeg and Me audiobook by Denise THIS IS HOW WRITING IS DONE!!! 5 STARS!!!

The story was long, but at the end I wished it wasn’t over, which is the sign of a truly good book. I’m falling in love with them as they fall for each other. The protagonists initially don’t care for each other, and the changes in emotion is accompanied by the development and increased depth in the characters. Usually other authors will throw a couple together with immediate attraction, and they fall into bed shortly thereafter. The slow development of the attraction between the characters is what I appreciate most. Review 1: The Wall of Winnipeg and Me audiobook by catkit Good slow burn Here are the top 3 reviews and comments that readers love about this fascinating book. The man called the Winnipeg wall who couldn’t find him every morning for the last 2 years wanted to be with her? The man Aiden Graves appears at her door eager to return to her. She became an assistant/butler for the top defense in the supposedly provisional Football Organization. The Wall of Winnipeg and Me is the story of Vanessa Mazur by Mariana Zapata.
